Olney Camera Club
The wet June weather played havoc with the Camera Club’s planned evening walkabouts, with two of the outings having to be cancelled. The recent digital workshop, however, was a big success with three groups working together with Photoshop.
The summer print competition attracted a big entry in all three categories and our thanks go to Cathel Gantley from Milton Keynes who had the unenviable task of judging the entries, which he did with a great deal of tact and humour! The winners in each category were as follows:

Childhood memories in Yardley Hastings
Return to your childhood at the Yardley Hastings Village week from 1st September. St Andrews church exhibition will take you back to your childhood no matter how near or distant. The church is open all week from 2.30pm on Saturday, 12 noon Sunday, and 2pm Monday 3rd to Friday 7th when teas will also be available.
Visit the traditional Fete and Produce Show on Saturday 1st from 2.30pm and Sausage Sizzle from 5.30pm at the Memorial Hall.
On Sunday 2nd start with the table top sale at the memorial hall from 12noon then from 2pm visit our open village with cream teas, music, children’s activities and stalls, rounded off by an Open air songs of praise at 5pm. K
