Remembrance
Celebrations at
Lavendon and Olney
This year British military casualties on active service have been greater than before, so Remembrance Sunday had a special relevance. Once again we gave thanks for the sacrifice of those who paid for our freedom with their lives in past conflicts, but also prayed for those who put themselves in the path of danger for our benefit today. We grieved with those who have lost loved ones, praying that those who have suffered injury or trauma might recover and find peace, and committing ourselves to serve others with the same selfless spirit.
