Museum Matters
Stuck for an idea for a Christmas or Birthday present?
Want something different for a Hen or Stag do?
Do you need to organize a fun event with a difference for Teens to 30+ ?
Need an activity for the February Half-term? What about a Paintball Voucher?
The Cowper and Newton Museum still has a few paintball vouchers available for sale. Each voucher admits up to 8 people for a day’s paintballing. Vouchers are valid at paintballing centres nationally but do have to be redeemed by end of February 2010. Contact: Ann Walker on 01234 241793 or by e-mail at ann@bzart.eclipse.co.uk If you haven’t already done so, there is still time to catch the war time exhibition in the Museum before it closes for the winter season at the end of December and with the photographer, John Vilkaitis, presenting his “Pilgrim’s Eye” exhibition in The Three Hares Gallery until the end of the month, there is plenty to interest the visitor. Don’t forget to visit the Museum on 6th December at Dickens of a Christmas, when there will be a strong Dickensian theme with a trail based on “A Christmas Carol”, Punch & Judy shows and a photographer to snap people in “Victorian bathing garb”, whilst items for sale in the shop or on the Museum stall in the market (including raffle tickets) might provide you with a stocking filler or two.
