HEAVY SNOW ... WE HAVE HEAVY SUN!
...and I am too hot! This was the reply received from one of our friends in Newton on receiving photographs of our frozen car earlier this week. Envy!!

Many thanks indeed to all who have supported the Link over the
Christmas period. Thanks to your generosity we have been able to
send a further £2000 towards the Skills Training Centre. As the photograph, received at the beginning of December shows, the plastering is well under way and
the windows will soon be fitted. These are not glass windows as used in this part of the world but metal security windows. Some internal fittings will then be needed and installed.
Goats
We are delighted to report that 8 pairs of breeding goats are being purchased in Newton by Brima James Kabia and given to eight needy families. James has promised to
send photographs and details of these families so that the purchasers will know to whom they have been given. This is an on going project, not just for Christmas. Pairs of breeding goats can be purchased for £50 at any time of the year.
Coming Events
Pancake Day will soon be upon us. We would be delighted to know of any intrepid ladies who are willing to run for the Link and ask that they please use our Sponsorship Forms obtainable from Tricia Selwood on 712919.
