Farewell to Rev Paul Rosier
Saturday 19th February there was a social for past and present members, which included a special edition of “This is your life” hosted by Trevor Ransome. On the following day, Paul conducted the last service of his ministry in the church, and this included a presentation by the Sunday School, highlighting Paul and Janet’s passion for long
currently working in Australia, and Tim gave a hilarious tribute to his Dad, “in the style of Paul Rosier”, complete with a three-point sermon. There were greetings from former members now in the USA, and a video of Paul fulfilling an ambition of playing the triangle in an orchestra – the MK Music Service Intermediate Orchestra – following which he was presented with a triangle as a memento.
The proceedings were rounded off with prayer by the Moderator, Revd Roy Freestone, followed by a tea, including the cutting (and eating) of a cake specially made by Marian Whitaker.
