NEWPORT PAGNELL ANNuAL TOWN MEETING
neWPOrt PAgneLL AnnUAL town Meeting will be held at 7.30pm on thursday 7th April 2011 at the United reformed church, high Street, newport Pagnell.
hosted by the town Mayor, cllr Ian carman, this is an open meeting for any resident of the town.
this year the seventh Annual town Award will be presented, followed by a number of short talks and presentations from the newport Muster, the Britain in Bloom group and the newport Pagnell Partnership.
this is an excellent opportunity to hear about the development of our town and to raise any questions or concerns.
Please come along to the meeting, we very much welcome your views.
EASTER FARMERS MARKET IN NEWPORT PAGNELL FRIDAY 15th APRIL
On FrIDAy 15th April, newport Pagnell town council is having its own stand at the market.
So come along to Market hill, newport Pagnell between 9am and 2pm to meet one of your local councillors, and whilst there you are warmly invited to take a free ticket for the town council’s easter egg raffle, which will be drawn at about 1.30pm. We hope to see you there.
UKIP Spring Conference
At the recent UKIP Spring conference two local residents, harvey rainbow and Mike Phillips were in attendance highlighting the fantastic result UKIP had in Barnsley, ultimately coming second beating the Lib Dems and pushing them into 6th place with just over 4% of the vote. harvey says “I am hoping for a similar result in the local elections, this result is fantastic and shows that the Lib Dems are no longer the voice of opposition.
