NAVY TRAINING CORPS OPEN DAY
THE NEwPOrT PAgNELL Navy Training Corps held its Open Day on Saturday 2nd July, at The green Park Community Centre, Newport Pagnell, and would like to thank all the parents and children who attended.
The staff and cadets welcomed the executive member of the Navy Training Corps - Lt Cdr Carol Hale. There were many displays of seamanship, first aid and camping. The Chairman, Mr rhys Leigh-Lancaster, said “The children had a great time tying knots, piping and learning about some of our other fun activities like sailing and kayaking. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn new skills and become part of a team building their confidence and learning the history and traditions of the royal Navy.”
Our junior section is from ages 8 to 12 years, and our cadet section from ages 12 to 18 years. If you would like any further information regarding the Navy Training Corps or would like to join, please contact Mr wes Nash, Officer in Charge, on 01908 561282
