Changes Olney Open Evening raises
£190 for Willen Hospice
Changes Olney salon hosted their annual Open evening on Tuesday. The events aim was to showcase services and new products to existing clients and new clients whilst raising money for Willen Hospice. The evening kicked off with fantastic Kerastraight Brazilian Blow Dry demonstration by local distributor Mark Dunleavy who transformed Cheryl, owner of Narcisse hair, wowing the audience. Following this were cutting demonstrations by salon owner John McBreen, consultations by Macadamia representative Paul Arestides and beauty consultations by the rest of Cheryl’s team at Narcisse. The Changes team were all on hand to offer hair care and product advice, to sell raffle tickets and keep the drinks flowing and the canapés circulated. Through ticket sales and the raffle the evening raised £190 for the local hospice at Willen.
“The salon was really buzzy and at one point it was almost impossible to get upstairs as everyone was watching the demonstrations. We took several new Brazilian Blow Dry bookings on the night and enjoyed meeting our clients. The local businesses were so generous as we had complimentary canapés supplied by The Bull pub and lots of other great raffle prizes too,” said Salon Manager Lisa.
“The evening was a great success, a real team effort, I am looking forward to next year!” said salon Owner, John.
