Bugle Boy
The Glenn Miller musical is coming to Dunstable in September, produced and starring David Wilder from Olney
David Wilder is a British actor and theatre producer. He lives here in Olney, with his wife Joantha and children Charlotte, Jacob and Georgia, and a Siberian Husky called Misty that constantly runs away.

When David left school at the age of sixteen it was to join the Gas Board. Four years later after realising his dream was to tread the boards he packed his bags and got accepted at the world-renowned Arts Educational Schools on their three year Musical Theatre Diploma course.
Currently David is the producer of Bugle Boy, a musical about the life (and death) of American big-band legend Glenn Miller. The show has been touring the UK throughout 2012 and will continue to do so in 2013 before transferring to the West End in the autumn.
David has been actor, choreographer, director and producer. Acting jobs included being understudy to Des OʼConnor in Cinderella at the Plymouth Theatre Royal in 1990 where audience members walked out and wanted their money back when Des was not available to perform!
Bugle Boy comes to the Grove Theatre in Dunstable on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th September at 7.30 pm and Saturday 8th September at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
His co-producer is the British rock manager and author, Simon Napier-Bell best known as Manager of Ultravox, Mark Bolan and Wham!
In 2000 he worked as assistant director of the Emmy winning film version of the 1996 stage version of Jesus Christ Superstar, feauring Rik Mayall and Glenn Carter and he has also been involved in West End musicals South Pacific, Barnum, Crazy For You, My Fair Lady, Mamma Mia!, The Sound of
David is also performing the roll of Don Haynes.
