September has been a month of change, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to a momentous end after a successful summer of sporting activity and the celebration of Andy Murrayʼs first ever grand slam . With it all over, I am now wondering what Iʼm going to watch on TV that will satisfy my need for a sporting fix. September also marks the end of my summer mobile surgeries. I always enjoy my surgeries as itʼs a great chance to meet people and travel around the constituency. It always helps when the weather is good too, which luckily it was. Donʼt forget that I still hold my regular surgeries and if you require an appointment please contact my office.

The awards giving didnʼt just end with the Olympics, as in Newport Pagnell they were flowing this month. I had the opportunity to visit the 3rd and 4th Newport Pagnell Brownies and was given the honour of awarding the brownies with their medals, which had followed an action packed day of Olympic themed activities. It was great to see all of the girls and their enthusiasm for sporting activities.

Hanslope have been celebrating 110 years of villagerʼs weddings this month with a floral celebration. St Jamesʼ Church in Hanslope had been decorated with bouquets of flowers and a variety of dresses which spanned the decades and in some cases, the century! It featured weddings from World War I, the 60s and more recently a Korean wedding. It was a fantastic event and a lot of hard work had gone into making it a massive success.
Finally, it has been all change in the land of Westminster. We have seen over the past few weeks the results of the Prime Ministerʼs first re-shuffle since the General Election in May 2010. We have seen some of the big beasts of Westminster moved and replaced with new, fresh faces. I have been fortunate enough to be amongst those to be given a new position in the Government. Having previously served as the Private Parliamentary Secretary to Andrew Mitchell in the Department for International

I took part in my own, ahem, sporting activity this month when I took place in the Newport Pagnell Muster. I took place in the very popular Beer Walk which is a 6 mile walk which passes the sites of old and current pubs, breweries and maltings. It was a great
