On the 26th August In the Pink held a party, with the idea to raise some awareness of the support group and to hopefully raise some funds. In the Pink is a local support group for Olney and surrounding areas, for those suffering or know of someone with Breast cancer. We hold our monthly meetings in Lavendon, with support all year round to our group and family members.
The support was incredible and we have so many people to thank for this. Firstly the Bolivian Sunshine Dogs, who very kindly donated themselves with a brilliant set. Olney Private Hire for providing the taxi services, Phil who donated the meat and Neil who donated the vegetables. We had donated raffle prizes from The Toy Shop, Love Lana, Metallica, At Rubyʼs, Cafe Rosco, Therapy, The Flower Shop and Cooker Clean. Marc Andrew Salon donated a generous raffle prize and some champagne. A massive thank you to all that came along and who donated.
We really are so grateful to everyone for their support, not just for this party but to everyone who has helped over the last year. Please keep spreading the word as the more people that know about us the more support we can offer. Our meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month.
