WEBSITE COMPETITION WINNERS
To launch Newport Pagnell’s Town Council website, two competitions were opened to people who lived, worked or went to school in Newport Pagnell. The Council thanks all those who entered these competitions and is delighted to announce the following winners:
WINNING WORD COMPETITION OVER 16 YEARS OLD WINNER:
Mrs Christine Johnson wrote: “Newport Pagnell, not just a stop on the motorway, also a thriving country town full of character and friendly people.”
UNDER 16 YEARS OLD:
Ceara Viljoen entered the competition through Green Park School. She wrote: “Newport Pagnell is a safe, fun, small and friendly environment. There are plenty of places for children to hang out!”
These glowing descriptions and the other wonderful entries which can be seen on our website, demonstrate that Newport Pagnell is a great place to live.
WINNING PHOTOGRAPH COMPETITION OVER 16 YEARS OLD WINNER:
Mr Richard Dawson faced stiff competition in this category. His winning entry is entitled Tickford Bridge at Night.
UNDER 16 YEARS OLD:
George Bailey had a winning angle on his photograph entitled Town Clock.
