NP Carnival Plans

ewport Pagnell Carnival has just got bigger and better! With over 40 parade entries anticipated this year... it’s going to be the
most jam-packed parade we have ever seen with a theme of ‘Around the World in 40 Floats’. Led by a vast selection of stunning Classic Cars and Bikers, the Milton Keynes Bag Pipe band will once again be announcing the arrival of our parade through the high street.
On Riverside Meadow we have booked an incredible Motorcycle stunt display team who are noted for their many stunts involving walls of re! In between the ying bikes and re we also have a Falconry display, showcasing some incredible birds of prey. We are also delighted to con rm the main arena will once again be hosted by the lovely Jamie Stimpson. If that wasn’t enough we have taken Newport Pagnell Carnival back to being a two day event!! On Sunday we expect over 100 cars to join our giant car boot sale on Riverside Meadow. Entry to the eld will be free all day Sunday, and as well as the vast numbers of bargains to be had the funfair, bar and food will all be remaining on site for a second great day out!
As part of the second day we will be launching the rst annual Specsavers Duck Race around the river. We have over 1000 ducks taking part which should make for quite a spectacular display! Ducks will cost just £1 from selected Newport shops nearer the time and there will be some great cash prizes available! All money will go back into ensuring the longevity of the Carnival so please make sure you keep an eye out for a place to buy your duck ticket.
