On the music scene for more than 30 years, Lillian is a monument to Jazz, Gospel and R&B. She has performed and recorded with many
legendary musicians including Humphrey Littleton. She has travelled the world performing New Orleans Jazz and R&B. She was named the second ‘New Orleans Musical Ambassador’ in 1986, the first being Louis Armstrong! Despite touring all over the world almost non-stop for the last 18 years Lillian has kindly agreed to perform for the Cowper and Newton Museum in Olney. She is interested in the link with the hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ written in Olney! A unique singer who performs all that is best in Jazz, Gospel and R&B, she leads a band featuring one of the UK’s finest guitarists, Denny llett. She is a regular performer at the Ascona Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and the French Quarter and Jazz and Heritage Festivals (New Orleans) and is currently working with Peewee Ellis (of James Brown fame)!
