Thanks must go to Ian Cox (Jaynes of Olney) for the ‘portrait’ (see above) he made of me at a recent Burns Night Supper in Emberton. It’s amazing what powers mince and tatties and a tot of whisky can do for a person! Talking of things hot, Newport Pagnell certainly had a major incident with the fire they had recently in the Liebherr building in Newport Pagnell, which hit the national news.
We have a picture and article written by Councillor Douglas McCall who lives nearby, and some of his thoughts on the incident. Having been brought up on a Fire Station estate in the fifties and sixties I know what a great job our emergency services do for us. See page 16 for more on this story and thanks for
the article, Douglas.
