Tuesday 23rd September: Travelling through history with Andante - Dr Denise Allen.
The lecturer is a specialist in Roman glass and classical civilisations. She is Head of Archaeology and Deputy Director of Andante travel, which was founded and is run by archaeologists. Subscriptions due - Members £20 - (19 lectures)

Stalwarts of the UK festival scene Hawkwind return by popular demand with their unique brand of ‘Space-Rock’ to the Bedford Corn Exchange following brilliant shows back in 2010 and 2013. Over the years Hawkwinds live shows have become the stuff of legend since first forming in 1969... Who else was there to see them when, in 1970, the band appeared outside the perimeter fence of the Isle of Wight Festival as a protest to the admission charge?
