Newport Pagnell Muster
Earlier this month, Newport Pagnell Muster organised their annual walk around the historic town of Newport Pagnell. Now in its seventh year, it was a very popular event with children, adults and the
elderly joining in to enjoy the sunny weather around the town. One walker commented that the event is “a nice way to see the town when you have just moved here” and is a “good idea for the town.”
As they did last year, five different walks were offered to those taking part: the gentle walk, the family walk, the town walk, the country walk and the hearty walk! Ranging from a leisurely two miles to an extravagant 15 miles, there was a walk suited to everyone, and the longest walks proved very popular. The chosen charity for the event was Willen Hospice who had a stall with a raffle. Age UK ran the Checkpoint in Bury Field, and the Brooklands Centre were also selling Cream Teas.
