Free Spirit Music Festival
The Robin Hood
The Free Spirit Festival held this summer at the Robin Hood boasted some great local talent as well as the famous Arthur
Brown, the god of hell fire.
The event was to raise money for the people of Vietnam to have free DNA testing to see if they are related to any of the children who are now adults that were sent out of the country at the end of the Vietnam war.
Toni Angelique Harrison, an adopted war baby herself from Vietnam is still trying to find all her family. The Vietnamese are too poor to buy DNA tests so this charity work is vital to re- unite people who are now scattered across the world.
The proceeds from the festival was £2600 which has bought many DNA tests and are currently being used in Vietnam. Well done Toni for organising such a great event for such a great cause.
