Kathy Pilkinton will talk about ‘The Recent Work of Albion Archaeology Bedford’ - the company which was formerly the Bedfordshire County Council Archaeological Service. She will discuss the work at Boughton Way, Kickles Farm, and a building survey at Carlton’s, which revealed Iron Age and Saxon settlements. Members £20 (19 lectures) or visitors welcome for £3 (includes refreshments).

Olney Runners’ Squeaky Bone Relay Race

Open to all ability levels, this relay race is a 3.5 mile event, or 2.3 miles for ages 11-15. This is not just an event for runners; bring along your support team who can enjoy great homemade cakes, with all profits going to the Olney-Newton Link charity.
