MK Food Bank supply food to families and individuals who are in urgent need in and around the Milton Keynes area.
Your drop-off point is Phonebox Magazine of ce or Newport Pagnell Medical Centre. The Food Bank are now supplementing their food parcels with much-needed toiletries too. You can donate items such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and soap.

There are 2 Britain in Bloom Competitions this year: one for the best front garden in Newport Pagnell, and one for the best oral display by a publican. You don’t need to register; we’ll be taking photographs of front gardens & pubs in July/August this year. But if you would like us to pay particular attention to your front garden or pub, email Janine on web@newport-pagnell.org.uk. You don’t need a large garden; even the smallest of spaces will be considered. Trophies will be awarded at September’s Horticultural Show.

Olney Archaeological Society
This is the day of Olney Open Gardens. Refreshments available from 1pm onwards and the gardens will be open too! Proceeds to The Friends of Cobbs Garden Surgery and The Kitchener Centre. There will be plants for sale in the courtyard.

Three Hares Art Gallery - Colin Veitch
This event is supporting 2 local charities: The Kitchener Centre and Friends of Cobbs Garden Surgery. There are a variety of gardens to visit, including the gardens of St Joseph’s Convent, the community allotments & Cowper and Newton Museum Gardens. Additional activities will be taking place in the gardens, including A Capella singing, lacemaking, and a gardening expert on hand to answer horticultural queries. Plant sales and a raf e will take place and homemade cakes and refreshments will be available in the museum courtyard. Ticket to cover all the gardens will be £5 (accompanied under 16s go free).
