ime for an adventure! Justin, William’s father, is putting the nal touches to this summer’s big trip: doing the National Three Peaks by
bike. That’ll be 700km and 8300m on the bikes as well as climbing the three iconic mountains on foot for another 40km and 3000m. The group are aiming to do it in a team of four with one supporting. They have scheduled 5 days to complete the task, starting on 12th July. It is well outside the record of 43 hours but this is meant to be an adventure, not a boot camp! Friends and relatives of the family have said they would like to raise money for William, which Justin says is “fantastic and overwhelming at times”. Justin explains, “being William’s Daddy, it is now my turn to challenge myself, now that I feel more able, to raise some money for my son and the fantastic care that he received whilst being at Great Ormond Street for the majority of his 14 months of life.
