Chantry Rise
Dear Editor, Chantry Rise is a great place to live, however inconsiderate parking is becoming unacceptable, each house has a garage and parking space, there are also allocated parking bays set around the development.
Cars are being parked on paths and opposite each other which creates chaos when trying to pass, should a re engine or ambulance need to attend an emergency they would not be able to get through.
Some residents also park more than one car outside their own and others’ properties.
Consideration is needed and one’s own parking spaces should be used, in order to keep the development looking good and residents happy.
Kind Regards, From Residents, Chantry Rise
Olney Open Gardens
Dear Editor, Please would you thank everyone who generously opened their gardens last weekend. It was wonderful to see them.

Earls Barton Rally and Country Fayre
The Rally will take place on the August Bank Holiday weekend, the 27th, 28th and 29th August 2016.
We are hoping that this year the weather will be kind to us. After two years of being rained off on the Monday it would be good for all our entrants, as well as the public, if we had a decent weekend. Even though we can do nothing about the weather we have still managed to enjoy the Monday and a large percentage of our entrants have stayed and supported us.
We have The Jez Avery Stunt Show in the ring which will be great fun. In the Country area we have the Viking Battle enactment and many interesting woodland and country exhibits, along with a display of Gipsy Caravans.
As well as the usual trade and craft exhibits we have a lot more attractions for the children including water Zorbing and a miniature crazy golf course. There is the usual amusement rides at the Fair and Punch and Judy. Sheridan the Sheepdog will keep you entertained as you walk round the eld.
Our thanks go to the Whites’ for the continued use of the eld and their support during the event. Also thanks must go to all the people, too numerous to mention individually, who give up their time to make the rally such a great success. So please enjoy your time with us and if there are any problems please do not hesitate in approaching a committee member for assistance.
If you have any queries or would like to lend a hand with the organization please contact Pat Conroy on 01933 663454. The Earls Barton Rally Committee
