FCO Sta are at MK Museum’s Service
Staff from FCO Services at Hanslope traded spreadsheets for stories and shovels when they visited MK Museum as part of a day’s teambuilding.
As well as touring the galleries to enjoy stories of this area’s past, the fty-strong group rolled up their sleeves to tackle gardening, painting and archiving duties for the museum.
Their day at the museum also included quizzes, a cream tea, and a brie ng on plans for two new galleries.
Each year the team selects a local cause where they can put something back into the community, and Museum Director Bill Grif ths was on hand to praise their efforts.
“We’re really grateful for the energy and enthusiasm the FCO Services team put into volunteering for the day. As the UK’s largest volunteer-run museum, we love to welcome local companies to enjoy a day with us.”

Do s Field Planning Decision
The long debate over whether there was or is a footpath around “Doffs Field” has nally been resolved.
On 19th May 2016, The Planning Inspectorate held a public local inquiry at the Civic of ces in Milton Keynes. The inquiry heard evidence from both sides regarding an alleged right of way around Doff’s eld. The Order for the footpath had been submitted by MK Council. The Inspector Sue Arnott finalised her decision on 1st June 2016 when she con rmed that the order for the footpath was not con rmed.
Olney Rugby Club would like to remind everyone that Doffs eld is private land, and there is no public footpath or right of way around or across the eld as con rmed by the Inspectors decision.
