Georgian Tea Party
ICowper and Newton Museum
t is with huge thanks for the ‘Olympian’ efforts of my amazing volunteers that our visitors enjoyed our best Georgian Tea Party to date
at the Cowper and Newton Museum, in Olney on Saturday 13th August.
We were treated to 18th century dancing by the newly formed ‘Amazingly Graceful Georgian Dancers’ (do join us, no experience necessary!). Delicious refreshments were donated by Teapots of Olney, our own volunteers and also the lady of the house 250 years ago, Mary Unwin, left us the legacy of her delicious gingerbread recipe to try. Battledore was played in the beautiful tranquil gardens; dressing up for the children; entertaining historical sketches, tours and Cowper readings; live music; crafts and the fascinating museum itself with the story of Newton’s ‘Amazing Grace’, all ensured this day’s success!

FACT:
68% of Customers/Clients in business switch due to INDIFFERENCE, not price, but feeling unappreciated, unimportant and taken for granted.
At Cox & Co our client retention rate for last year and for many years before has been 100%.
David thinks this is partly due to the fact that we value our lovely clients as well as giving then “VIP Gold Star Service”, unlike many other accountants. In fact, the only clients we seem to lose is if they die, and after much consideration we have decided that if they insist on dying on us then there is not much we can do to prevent this!
Accounts, Audits, Tax.... You know what to do!
