Walking with llamas
Abbey Llamas is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing no cost opportunities for local carers to gain respite from their duties and responsibilities by walking the Bedfordshire countryside with our beautiful and gentle llamas.
If you are a local organisation providing care for others then we would like you to get in contact with us to arrange walking opportunities for members of your staff and/or clients.
Abbey Llamas is located in the picturesque village of Turvey and we have three llamas (Rodney, Santiago and U2) and two alpacas (Frodo and Icarus) available for trekking for 1⁄2 an hour, 1-hour or 2- hours’ duration. Llamas walk at a strolling pace which even those who are not especially fit would find manageable.
