The Vibe
Prodigy at The Bowl:
“Deck the halls with boughs of holly... fa la la la la
le la la la.”
I am ridiculously exited at the opportunity to see these bands in the summer, and there is no doubt that most of MK’s teenagers will be raving away like crazy when we see them.
Yep, it’s nearly Christmas and we are deep into the festive season already; on the 14th of November my friends began to report “Coca Cola Advert” sightings, symbolising the start of Xmas, and only a few days later I began to see lights and baulbauls all over the place.
Tickets are on sale already and may be a good idea for Christmas presents!
If you haven’t started Christmas shopping yet, like me, I’m sure you’re full of dread about braving MK city centre over the next few weeks...I am suddenly beginning to admire those “freaks” who did their Christmas shopping in June and July - one day I will be that organised!
the_vibe@live.co.uk!
This is possibly the biggest gig to ever occur in Milton Keynes, and certainly since Projekt Revolution in 2008.
Prodigy, Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Chase and Status, Does It Really Offend You, Yeah?, and Zane Lowe all in one venue?
24th July 2010
Anyway, I hope everyone has a splendid Christmas, (“splendid” being my Christmassy word of the year... It just sounds Christmassy, don’t you think?) - And a happy new year! Let me know what you Katrina x did over Christmas and New year at the_vibe@live.co.uk!
Present time
Here are just a few suggestions for those of you who still need to buy Xmas pressies. There really are some great deals this year, I would advise looking in M&S for “experiences” (weekends away, meals out, beauty treatments etc), and Argos for younger siblings or relatives.
