LAVENDON VILLAGE HALL
A charity dance was held on New Year’s Eve at Lavendon Village Hall in aid of the Thames & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust. The amount of £765 was raised for this wonderful service. After several incidents in Lavendon when the air ambulance has been required it was felt to be a very worthy cause. Thankfully all casualties have fully recovered. We would like to thank all those who supported this event.
Money raised Maggot Racing
Once again the annual Maggot Racing held at the Green Man Lavendon proved to be very successful where a sum of £380 was raised for the Village Hall Fund.
Many thanks to all the staff at the Green Man for their help. A special thanks to ‘Jack’ for setting up the big screen. Big thanks to Ratty on the traps, Margaret and Barry on the tote, Kaye for the printing of programmes. Thanks to all the sponsors of races and a special thanks to all who purchased the maggots to make this event so successful. Thanks once again to everyone.
