ROTARY IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS
The NewporT pagNell rotary Club is constantly looking to increase its membership of like-minded men and women. with this in mind, and to celebrate this year’s worldwide rotary Day on 23rd February members recently erected a balloon covered stand in Newport pagnell high Street.
The main purpose of this event
was to get over the message about rotary in general and the rotary Club of Newport pagnell in
particular to the citizens passing our stand. The rotarians who
manned the stand hopefully brought some sunshine into the public’s lives on a very wet and miserable Saturday.
Shoppers and others passing by were encouraged to look at the rotary Display Board by receiving ‘Thanks for life’ crocus book-marks, balloons for children and were entered into a free wine raffle, the two winners will be contacted and will be invited to come along to a rotary meeting to receive their prizes.
