Glamour Recycling!
The Dress Agency just opened in Castle Ashby
The Dress Agency aims to provide fashion with flair for it’s customers.
They sell nearly-new high-end High Street and Designer clothes on a 50/50 basis. They have created a boutique atmosphere to showcase their stock. It is a great place to buy and sell those beautiful clothes waiting to be fabulous again! There is no better way to recycle with glamour.
I’m currently on tour in France in ‘The Tempest’ and will be back next month!

Stoke Goldington Pre-School update
We’re enjoying our Summer holidays at the moment, but briefly looking back to the end of Summer Term we had a really fun, action- packed Sports Day with over 35 children proudly showing their Mums and Dads their very best running, potato and spoon races and beanbag balancing skills!
All the children, from the youngest 2-year olds to the energetic 4-year olds, had a go at every race, accompanied by some rousing support from the children of Stoke Goldington CE First School!
It was a great morning out on the Rec at Stoke and the Mum and Dads races were pretty amusing too. Afterwards there were special Leaver’s Presentations for the 18 children who left at the end of Term and were presented with a gift from Pre-School and their bookbags for First School.
On the last two mornings of Term the Pre-School children gave two performances of their fantastic ‘Sing-a-Long’ Variety Performance
Show to all the parents. The songs were brilliant with the children pretending to climb into space rockets for take-off to the moon whilst using an array of beautiful hand-made props they had created themselves to accompany the songs. The music was very catchy and any parents who were there will confirm it was hilarious!
Unfortunately rain stopped play for our annual Summer Fun Day event, but we are re-scheduling all the day’s activities for Bank Holiday Monday 29th August running alongside Stoke Goldington’s Wesley Cup Cricket day – see the separate article in this month’s issue.
Don’t forget we have places available for 2-year olds from September onwards. Phone Stoke Pre-School on 07716 967723 to arrange a visit or find out more. www.stokegoldington- preschool.co.uk
