Olney and Clifton Fishing Association
After the droughts, floods at the start of the season! In spite of the bank- high river level (or because of it, opinions differ!) the catches have been very good. Specimen fish officially recorded so far include:
Barbel 12lb 6oz Bream 7lb 9oz Carp 18lb 6oz Chub 4lb 2oz Roach1lb Tench 6lb 10oz

Ray Todhunter, Chub, (4.2)
Anglers have had good catches of bream and tench.
Club juniors enjoyed their recent matches with all the catching fish, which guaranteed them £5 plus other prizes.

Generously sponsored by Club President Andrew Finn-Kelcey and Ron Bull. The John Minney Junior Cup was won by Heather Price with 4lb 1oz. Charlie Mynard was second with 2lb 3oz and Phillip Lee third 1lb 14 and a quarter oz.
The D Rogers Mem Cup was also won by Heather Price 3lb 13oz with Sammy Brooks second 2lb 1oz and Charlie Mynard third 1lb 10 and three quarter oz. This match sponsored by John Hare, BBH Hydraulics.
The Annual Cup was won by Nigel Porter with 11lb 7oz and Sponsor Cup by Dave Tebbutt with just 4lb 2oz.
