We returned to the school year with enthusiasm and the enjoyment of the new Reception cohort at their start of schooling. The late summer weather was certainly a contrast to our end to the last school year and we rescheduled a cancelled Sports evening, inviting our graduated pupils for a return to take part. Once again the PTFA stepped in to organize refreshments.
We dug up our late season crop of potatoes, took some home for tea and had a ‘boiling’ of the small ones to eat with our packed lunches.
A kind invitation by our sister Pre-School saw us joining in their 40th birthday party with cake and a chance for our ‘older’ pupils to revisit the village hall and share in the fun.
Lastly thanks to the continued efforts of our dedicated groundsman Dave Goss the school won the runner’s up prize in Frosts School Garden competition. Vice-chair Nigel Anderson collected a garden voucher at the ceremony on behalf of the school and the funds will be used to promote our outdoor curriculum.

The 14th Annual Exhibition was held on at the Carlton House Club in Olney. Nine layouts were booked to attend, together with trade support and the LCGB and RCTS Society Stands.
