Exhibition of Paintings by Diana Cosford
Paintings Inspire Musical
Memories for Mystery Visitor
A mystery message was left for artist Diana Cosford in the ‘Comments Box’ at her current exhibition in the Three Hares Gallery, Cowper and Newton Museum, Olney.
Dee was deeply touched to read the hand written blue slip revealing that her paintings brought reminders of George Butterworth’s musical composition the ‘Banks of Green Willows’ to the appreciative unknown visitor.
“The idea was so lovely that I had to nd out what music it was. It proved to be so beautiful that I immediately downloaded it from iTunes. Moments of light, colour and line inspire my paintings then music (of huge variety) is an important part of my creative time at the easel so this piece will now de nitely be included!”
Dee wants to thank her thoughtful viewer and is hoping that the Phonebox magazine publishing this request will encourage the writer to contact her via her website www.dianacosford.co.uk
