It was another scintillating day of fun on Silver Street in Newport Pagnell as hundreds of people turned out for the 4th Soapbox Derby Sunday, bought back from years of tradition by Nick Walduck in 2010. This year lived up to the hype with some brilliantly creative entries including 'Royal Fail', 'engineered by Adam Hart amongst others.
There was plenty of action with tightly fought racing, a few bumps / coming together of soapboxes and some three wheel action courtesy of the Carnoisseur team The winners were Boys Brigade in 1 st, Wheely Bad in 2nd and Invincible in 3rd.
A big congratulations and thanks to the Soapbox Team and the sponsors Brian Currie, Timpsons, Dread, Simpson Eves, Ringway, Newport Pagnell Baptist Church and Neat Feet whom together make this great event possible each year.
