So, it's summer and some of you would've only just started the holidays. However, I finished on July 1 1 , so I've had plenty of time to try and relax. For those that have only just finished don't waste any time, get straight out there in the sun getting a tan. The weather has been very good to us, we've had a lot of sun and hot weather putting a smile on everybody's face. But do you remember the scary thunder at 3am in the morning last month? Hopefully we won't be having that again.
For a lot of you, a holiday is on the horizon. If so, then I hope you all have a fantastic time. Enjoy it and make the most of your holidays because we go into Year 11 in September.
You know what that means, it's all about working hard to get us readyforourGCSEs. Remember, the harder your work the more likely you are to get better results. I think it's best to start revising early.
Good luck to everyone getting their results too, especially those who are moving on to something new like sixth form, college or university.

a rock band who formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001 .
The band consists of two members - guitarist/singer, Dan Auerbach, and drummer, Patrick Carney. They started out self-recording and producing their songs in the basements of Akron, and their sound is a mixture of garage and indie rock. They were heavily influenced by blues, so there is some element of blues rock within their music.
They recorded five studio albums before bursting into the mainstream with Brothers. Their first few albums are rawer and less polished, but I would highly recommend listening to them as they are still excellent.

Also, if you are thinking of taking a much younger sibling along, I wouldn't suggest it. For an X-Men movie, it's seriously dark. And there is an end scene which is apocalyptic. All in all, it's the best X-Men film so far."
I believe this is a very accurate review of the film. So if you haven't seen it then you're too late to watch it in the cinema so I hope you'll be eagerly waiting for the DVD release.
