Have yourself a merry little (upcycled) Christmas
It’s the second month of the upcycled series, and what else could we possibly focus on in December but the upcycled Christmas?! Christmas is a big seller in every way, every year; from tinsel to wrapping paper, food to gifts, no matter how much Christmas themed paraphernalia we buy, there’s always more to purchase the next year. So this year, we’ve come up with a variety of ways to try and help save
those pennies by upcycling some decorations and gifts. One of the easiest upcycling methods when it comes to Christmas is gold, white or red spray paint. Spray pretty much any item (within reason) with a Christmassy colour and it instantly makes you feel festive. Pine cones and sprigs of holly are a great example, and can either be hung from trees with a bit of string or just arranged around the home, and sprayed with a bit of gold or sprinkled with glitter they’ll look instantly Christmassy.

Light Bulbs
Old lightbulbs are an unusual
yet creative tree decoration
idea, paint them in any colour
and maybe add a bit of glitter
and you’ve got some unique Christmas baubles. If you’re
feeling that little bit more artistic,
you could turn them into a festive character or animal, a bit of black and white and you’ll have a nice little penguin.
