Friends of Newport Pagnell Library
Friends of Newport Pagnell Library (FoNPL) are firmly established to protect the library service from closure under MK Council austerity cuts.
The library has a large number of people coming to the library in St. John’s Street Newport Pagnell for many purposes including borrowing books, DVDs and CDs etc. Using the reference section, children’s section, use of the computers, accessing the free WiFi and social gatherings etc.
The purpose of FoNPL is to retain the general interest of the library and in fact to increase it. If you would like to join this group please contact FoNPL by one of the ways below or just come into the library and ask when the next meeting is taking place?

Christmas Lights
Please don’t forget it is Newport Pagnell Lights switch-on day on Saturday 28th November 2015.
Please put this date in your diary as it is always exciting and there is plenty to do. Newport Pagnell Focus Team will have a stall and this year we have two special events.
1. “Guess the Name of the Bear”: We have a five foot tall giant teddy bear to give away as the prize if you correctly guess the Bear’s name.
2. A Tombola type game where you can win prizes if you pick the correct coloured table tennis ball out of a drum.
Not forgetting the other stalls and, of course, the Christmas Lights Switch on, usually at 5pm.
