Operation Christmas Child
The children say “Thank You”
Please make up a shoebox Christmas present, and put a smile on a child’s face.
The needs of the world can seem overwhelming, especially with the current refugee crisis. Operation Christmas Child
aims to send Christmas presents to children in disadvantaged situations in many different countries and, by taking part, this is one way in which
we can all help to make a difference. Every shoebox present donated ensures that one more child gets a present this Christmas.
Of course, the message of Christmas isn’t about how many presents you get, but sending somebody a present is a sign that you care about them. Let’s show the needy children of this world that we do care about them and that we want to help them. Olney Baptist Church is again pleased to provide a drop off point for your Christmas gifts.
Please take part this year; full instructions can be found on the website, or ring Hilary Terry for a leaflet on how to complete your shoebox. Then deliver your Christmas shoebox gift to:
