Newport Pagnell Carnival is right around the corner and we’ve got so much in store for you, that we’re going to stop rambling
and get right down to business. Deep breath people...
Leaving Blakelands at 12 noon on Saturday 25 June is the Carnival Parade. This year we’re celebrating ‘sporting moments’ so there is even more reason to cheer, shout, donate and join in the festivities. The fun then continues onto Riverside Meadow where, brand new for 2016, Zero Gravity bike stunt display team are set to astound. We’ll also have a circus workshop, have-a-go archery, stalls, food, beer tent, the funfair, an in atable play zone, a penalty shootout and dance shows. And the hugely popular music stage is back for your listening pleasure. Blimey.
But let’s regain our composure and take another deep breath because... Leaving Blakelands at 12 noon on Sunday 26 June is the Classic and Vintage Car Parade. The wonderful display of cars will glide through the High Street and onto Riverside Meadow where, you’ve guessed it, we have lots more in store for you. The annual classic and vintage car show, the boot-ilicous car boot sale, the Hula Dog Show, stalls, food, the funfair and the competitively brilliant Newport Pagnell Duck Race. Plus entry onto the eld on Sunday is ... drum roll please ... free!
So near, far, wherever you are ... come along and help make the weekend dazzle! And if you’d like to take part in the parade, car show, dog show, duck race, car boot or have a stall, then there is still time – but get moving.

n Wednesday evening 30th March many people came to the Parish Church in Newport Pagnell to listen to James
Goff and his Big Band. They were not disappointed. The Band played a varied number of well- known songs including: Fly Me to the Moon, The Folks Who Live on the Hill, Almost like Being in Love and Nice n Easy. The evening was arranged by The Brooklands Centre in Newport Pagnell and proceeds are to further the work they
