Olney Open Gardens – Refreshments here and our gardens will be open too, July 3 @ 12.00pm-5.00pm. Homemade refreshments from the Courtyard from 1.00 pm onwards are included in the price of the ticket. Proceeds to The Friends of Cobbs Garden Surgery and The Kitchener Centre. Gardens are open from 12 noon to 5.00 pm.
Alice in Wonderland, July 10 @ 10.30am-4.30pm. A magical day with the students from Arts 1 School of Performance based in Milton Keynes, dressed as characters from this famous book... and remaining in character all day! Fall into the world of the Mad Hatter without swallowing any potions! Look forward to Tweedle-dum and Tweedle. A Mad Hatter’s tea party in the courtyard. Croquet on the lawn with the Cards – will the Queen of Hearts join them? Alice will be in and around the museum all day singing, reading and reciting. Please don’t be put off by the weather, if it rains there are inside activities too! Adults presenting an annual pass £2.50. Adults without an annual pass £7.50 (this will include the purchase of an annual pass). Children 3-16 years £2.
Woodcarving Demonstration by British Woodcarvers Association, July 17 @ 10.30am-4.30pm. Talented members of the British Woodcarvers Association (BWA) will be showing you techniques and you can dabble in soap carving to start you off in this wonderful hobby! Usual Adult Annual Pass applies £5. Children free.
Guided Walk around Olney, July 17 @ 11.00am-12.30pm. Guided walk around Olney from the museum. Join our guides setting off from the museum to explore the nooks and crannies of the town from the Market Place, with emphasis on the NORTH end of town. The tour will take about 1.5 hours. Special event price: Adults £5. Children free.
