unday July 3rd is the date for the fth very popular smallspace show in Hanslope.
smallspace deals with all things space, science ction and fantasy – and far more besides. This year we are celebrating one of the most famous
spacecraft design in TV shows, the Eagle from Gerry Anderson’s Space: 1999. So we are very pleased to announce that the designer of that very spaceship, Brian Johnson, will be our special guest. We aim to have at least two of the original large Eagle models on display – and there were only three! Brian Johnson has won many awards, including two Oscars for his special effects on the movies, Alien and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
You will also be able to see one of the iconic vehicles from another Gerry Anderson TV series, UFO. The full-size and road-worthy SHADO Jeep has been refurbished from the very sorry condition it was found in, and this will be the rst time on display for many years.
And there’s loads more besides – there will be Daleks, Cybermen, the original Doctor Who K-9 – plus many props and models from all your favourite shows. Then buy yourself a souvenir of the day, as a number of specialist dealers will be displaying their wares.
smallspace 5 will be open from 10.00hrs, Sunday 3rd July at Hanslope Village Hall, Newport Road, Hanslope, MK19 7NZ. Entry fee is £3 per adult, and accompanied kids, under 16, get in free!
