Olney Cherry Fair
OCan you spot yourself?
n Saturday 18th June the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul held their annual Cherry Fair on the Glebe in Olney. This year was the 700th anniversary of the
granting of a charter by Edward II in 1316 to hold a fair in Olney.
Gates opened at 1.00pm with the Mayor of cially opening the fair at 1.15pm. It was a fun packed afternoon with a brass band, country dancing demonstrations, a karate demonstration, a zumba demonstration and a very popular dog show. Luckily the rain held off and everyone enjoyed themselves.
