OAnnual Christmas bucket collection has begun
ur Club organised a Family Barn Dance that was held at Lavendon Village Hall on 29th October, with music by Och’n’Dough. Over 90 tickets were sold and there was
enthusiastic participation in the dances. It was a really fun evening.
We held an information meeting at Wavendon Golf Club on 20th October, with the aim of forming a “satellite club” in that area. The event was very well supported, and there have been two subsequent meetings of these interested in forming a new Club. We also held an information meeting at The Swan Revived Hotel in Newport Pagnell on 2nd November. That event also attracted visitors who have expressed an interest in attending our regular meetings to learn more, and possibly to join our Club.
Courtesy of Frosts Garden Centre, Woburn Sands, we have started our annual Christmas “bucket collections”. Money donated by generous shoppers is given primarily to Willen Hospice, with a small percentage for other charities supported by Rotary. Please give generously when you see our signs, and our Rotarians dressed for cold weather.
