Olney Veterans’ Luncheon
On Veterans Day, Thursday 27th June 2007, The Mayor and Town Council of Olney have invited the veterans of Olney to a Buffet Luncheon in the Olney Centre.
Admission will be by invitation only. Invitations will be sent to all those known to be eligible by Captain J. S. Stewart OBE FRAgsS of Netherby House, Riverside Walk, Olney, Bucks MK46 4BP. Tel: 01234 241672 during the second half of May. They will include a reply paid envelope and a reply card.
If you have NOT received an invitation by 1st June and are eligible, please contact Captain Strewart and you will be sent an invitation.
All those who have served in HM Armed Forces up to and including the Falklands War are eligible to call themselves veterans. The Veterans Agency issues, on request, a very nice little enamel badge. Their telephone number is 0800 169 2277 and applications by phone are accepted.
Veterans attending the lunch are asked to wear medals and badges.

Kim Hine, your local adviser, has been in the Financial Services industry since 1984 in a variety of roles. She has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1994 providing wide ranging generalist advice to clients. Having known NHFA in its infancy, Kim decided to specialise in the area of care fees advice in 2005 and joined NHFA, working from home in Olney. Kim thoroughly enjoys this new role that allows her to use her hard earned expertise, whilst providing a valuable service for clients in need of bespoke advice, usually at a crisis point in their lives. Kim was President of the local Chartered Insurance Institute 1993/94 and still sits on Council in her capacity of Treasurer, she feels that this gives something back to the insurance community, which she has enjoyed being part of and which has done so much for her. Kim continues to expand her repertoire by taking on new concepts, technical issues and taking additional examinations, she has recently achieved the status of Chartered Financial Planner.
