Olney Host Rugby Sevens
Olney Rugby Club is holding its first ever rugby sevens tournament on Saturday 7th July, and places are still available to local businesses and clubs that wish to enter a team. For £30 for a team of ten, it's a good value day of socialising, networking and rugby. There will be a full tournament programme running from 10.30am and any children who come along to support their Dads can also take part in free rugby workshops throughout the day. There is free physio cover, a BBQ and the bar open all day and Raging Bull rugby kit will be on sale throughout. K

Olney Ladies Old Girls!
On Saturday 4 August Olney Ladies Rugby Team are holding the first ever 'Old Girls' day where ladies who have played for the team in the past are invited back to the club. There will be an Old Girls vs Current XV game of touch rugby, a BBQ, some old photos to pore over and the chance to catch up with team mates from the 12 year history of Olney Ladies. K

Sherington Church of England School
Ofsted Inspection Report
Sherington (C of E) School has just undergone a very successful Ofsted inspection in which all areas were rated either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. The report particularly highlighted the strong ethos of the school and the outstanding personal development of the children.
The Ofsted inspector noted in his report that: ‘‘The pupils’ outstanding personal development and well-being, including their excellent spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, contribute very strongly to their standards and achievement... the good teaching and learning ensure that pupils achieve well and make good progress.’’
