Dear Editor
Dear Editor
Earls Barton Rally and Country Fayre
This year is simply ying by, but the organisation for the Rally is going
well. Some of the committee spent the weekend helping out at the Rushden Cavalcade of Transport, it was a brilliant weekend and they were very successful. This was a great result as they had to cancel last year.
Entries are still coming in for August and all the entertainment is booked. This year we will have the Battling Cumberland Giants and the Bernese Carters in the ring and Sheridan the Sheepdog will
be mingling with the crowds, always a great attraction. There will be the normal vintage and classic vehicle displays along with an even better countryside display of working crafts.
The trade area is coming together thanks to a lot of help from our regular exhibitors.
If anyone has any queries or would like further information or is willing to help in any capacity we would love to hear from you.
please contact Robert Hollowell on 07960 082975 or Di and Robin Lewis on 01604 403548.
As always thank you for your continued support.

Advantage Finance Of cer
Dear Editor
Local charity Advantage Africa are seeking a ‘Finance Officer Plus’. Within a small charity like Advantage Africa, job opportunities are rare because although they support 25 development workers in Kenya and Uganda, they only have four staff in the UK.
A vacancy has arisen in their Olney of ce for a determined and enthusiastic person who will enjoy being part of a dynamic charity and can ef ciently manage the organisation’s nances. For candidates wishing to help with supporter care, administration and fundraising the job can be expanded to become Finance and Support Of cer. The position is for 15-30 hours/week according to the exact role taken, and attracts a salary of £18-£25k pro-rata, depending on skills and experience. If you’d like to use your nancial skills to make a difference, please visit their website www.advantageafrica.org for more information but be sure to get your skates on. The closing date is midnight on 2nd June!

A Charity Coffee Morning in
memory of my mum, Lynn
Warman, in aid of Leukaemia
and Lymphoma Research is to
be held on Saturday 8th June
between 10am to noon at The
Pavilion, Hulton Drive, Emberton.
In December 2010 I lost my
beautiful mum, and Karen lost
her dear friend, Lynn Warman, to
Leukaemia. In her memory, we
will be holding a coffee morning
to raise funds for Leukaemia and
Lymphoma Research (LLR) and would love to have your readers support. LLR is an amazing charity that helps give those still ghting blood cancer the support they and their loved ones need.
If you are unable to make the coffee morning and would like to show your support for this brilliant charity, we have signed up to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 17th August which involves hiking 37 kilometres over
3 peaks in 12 hours. All sponsorship will go direct to the charity as we are both funding the challenge ourselves. We would be so grateful if you could spare a few moments to donate at www.justgiving.com/Lynn-Warman
With many thanks, Amy-Rose Warman and Karen Goss
