Long Live David Pibworth
Wish I had the same longevity as him so that I could come to see his production at the Chrysalis in 2104! (See August edition of Phonebox).

Beautiful flowers are a great pleasure
Dear Sir, I just wanted to say how beautiful the flowers and hanging baskets are in Olney. They are always lovely but this year they are better than ever. They give me great pleasure, and friends who I take to Olney always remark on them. We all know what hard work it is to keep hanging baskets going! Best wishes,
Jenny Penn, Yardley Hastings

Walking with a purpose
Returning for its sixth year and looking better than ever, the 2014 Newport Muster will take place on
Saturday 13th September.
Whether you’re a hearty walker
wanting a beer en-route or looking
for a more genteel outing culminating
in a cream tea, this annual walking
event has something for everyone.
Ranging from two to fifteen miles,
the marshalled routes will take you
through, in and around some of
the most scenic and rural locations
available in the area.
Previous years have been very successful, with many people saying they’ll return again having found places they’ve never seen before. Also ideal for children, this is a great family event so bring them along with friends. And don’t forget the dog!
The Newport Muster starts from 10am and walkers must be pre-registered. Registration is available online at newportmuster.org.uk. Alternatively, email info@newportmuster.org.uk for more information.
