Olney Bowling Club is extremely grateful to MK Community Foundation for the two grants they have allocated to us
for the purchase of new crockery for the clubhouse and metal edging for the green surrounds. These grants have helped the Club to maintain its high standards and have been awarded through the Margaret Powell Foundation Community 1st Fund and the Community 1st Fund. The value of the two grants was £1278.
Hilary Brock Pairs
On Sunday 19th July Olney Bowling Club enjoyed a sponsored tournament on a beautiful sunny day.
24 pairs competed over five games to the final with Mick and Breda emerging winners in a close fought game against Colin (Cook) and Patrick.
Everyone enjoyed the day which included a superb lunch and cream tea. Many thanks to the sponsors, the Brock Family, from all those taking part.
BBQ
Eighty members and their guests enjoyed our BBQ on a lovely summers day. The day started with a “Spider” won, after much discussion, by Liz. Enjoy your prize Liz! The food was once again cooked by our
