Olney Library
On Saturday 10th August local author Jane Burdiak visited Olney library to meet readers and discuss her latest book, The Sporting Widow. Jane was wonderfully
approachable and happily answered questions and discussed her work throughout her visit. This was the rst author event held at Olney library, however due to its success similar events will follow, alongside the start of an Olney Library based book-club run by FoLiO (Friends of the Library in Olney) members. Come and see FoLio at The Big Olney Food Festival on the Market Place in Olney on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. Folio will be there with story times (timing to be advertised on the days) and a selection of pre-owned and loved children’s books for sale.
There will also be face painting, a children’s reading area, colouring and much more based around a BOFF friendly ‘food’ theme. Come and join the fun!
