That means one thing: spring is here. And it also signifi es a time for all of us to come together and start to enjoy the longer days, shorter nights and all the great things we can share in Olney, Newport Pagnell and the surrounding villages. Spring offi cially began last month %u2013 on 20th March %u2013 with the vernal equinox, the day when daytime and night-time are the same length. And that marked for us a time for celebration, of forward-looking, optimism and hope.There%u2019s just so much to see and do in our area, and we cover some of them in this month%u2019s issue of Phonebox. There%u2019s the AI exhibition in Bletchley to marvel at (p 6), the LitFest in Milton Keynes in which to learn and discover (p 20), the Andy Warhol exhibition in the MK Gallery (p 30) and the big butterfl y count (p 30) in which we can all help the researchers with their conservation plans. And don%u2019t forget a packed season of brilliant stage performances to look forward to over the coming warmer months %u2013 we preview three crackers in our Entertainments pages (starting p 12). In fact, there%u2019s so much theatre activity that we%u2019ve even brought you an Entertainment Extra page. So, with our picture round-up of the Pancake Race too (p 32), it all goes to prove just what an interesting and exciting place this little corner of the world is to live in, and I, for one, am happy to be a part of this brilliant community. Please continue to let us know what you and your friends, colleagues, clubs and organisations are up to as we move into spring and summer. The days are longer now %u2013 so you have no excuse not to!Ron Hall, Editor
