meant a food shortage and what is available is expensive to buy. However we are still managing to feed 500 orphans between the ages of 3 - 11.
In between painting, teaching music and maths at school the students volunteering from Bedford Modern School who recently stayed, also enjoyed playing football with the children...the kit was kindly donated by Milton Keynes Dons. Thank you all for your generous support!

I'm beginning to recognise some of them now and it's a joy to see them looking more healthy each time I come out. It does warm the cockles of my heart when they smile and say "Jambo" (hello) to me, they didn't have the energy before.

Our Activity Centre has been a hive of activity this last month with groups from U K staying. It's an opportunity to stay in the heart of the village and integrate with the local community. At only £10 per night bed and board is affordable. It is youth hostel style
